Indian football fraternity is mourning the loss of veteran sports administrator Swapan Sadhan Bose, popularly known as Tutu Bose, who passed away at the age of 78.
A towering figure in Kolkata football for decades, Bose had been closely associated with Mohun Bagan and played a major role in shaping the club’s modern identity. Reports stated that he had suffered a severe cardiac arrest and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital before his demise.
His passing has triggered an emotional response across the football community, especially among Mohun Bagan supporters who viewed him as one of the defining administrators in the club’s history.
