Cole Palmer has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Manchester United, insisting he has no intention of leaving Chelsea.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who joined Chelsea from Manchester City in 2023, said he “laughs” at rumours suggesting he could return to Manchester despite being a boyhood United fan.
Palmer Rejects Transfer Rumours
Palmer made it clear that reports about a potential move are unfounded. He addressed suggestions that homesickness could influence his future, stating that while Manchester remains home, he does not feel the need to return.
The England international emphasised that he remains focused on his current role and future at Chelsea.
Long-Term Commitment To Chelsea
Palmer signed a contract extension in 2024 that keeps him at Stamford Bridge until 2033. He reiterated that he is committed to the club and has no plans to move elsewhere.
Despite a dip in form this season, Palmer remains a key figure in Chelsea’s project as they push for a strong finish.
Focus On Season Objectives
Chelsea are currently battling for a top-five finish in the Premier League, which would secure qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
Palmer highlighted the importance of achieving that goal, as it would strengthen the club’s position in the transfer market ahead of next season.
Players Involved In Transfer Planning
Palmer also revealed that he and club captain Reece James have been in discussions with the club’s hierarchy regarding future signings.
Both players are confident in the direction of the club and believe the right additions will help Chelsea compete at the highest level moving forward.
