Indian Athletics Series 2026 in Ranchi: Ramraj, Roy and Sojan Dominate Women’s Events

Ranchi, Jharkhand : The Indian Athletics Series 2026 – 4th leg concluded with high-quality performances across track and field disciplines, showcasing depth in Indian women’s athletics alongside competitive men’s events. The one-day meet, held at Birsa Munda Stadium, featured 38 finals in senior categories with over 200 athletes from states and institutional teams competing for top honours.

Women’s Track Events

100 metres

Mousumi Roy (Odisha) – 11.83 seconds

Himashree Roy (Railways) – 11.87 seconds

Binati Behera (Odisha) – 12.14 seconds

200 metres

Mousumi Roy (Odisha) – 24.79 seconds

Bidisha Kundu (West Bengal) – 24.99 seconds

Samriti Jamwal (Himachal Pradesh) – 25.27 seconds 

5,000 metres

Bharti (Haryana) – 16:55.42

Mamta Pal (All India Police) – 17:55.45

Mitali Deepak (Maharashtra) – 18:23.04 

400 metres Hurdles

Vithya Ramraj (Railways, Tamil Nadu) – 57.02 seconds

Anu R (Reliance) – 57.48 seconds

Shravani Sachin (Maharashtra) – 1:01.17

Long Jump

Ancy Sojan (Indian Navy) – 6.45 metres

Manisha Merel (Odisha) – 5.78 metres

Bidisha Kundu (West Bengal) – 5.73 metres
