Behind his resurgence was valuable advice from Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who helped Samson refine his mindset and preparation during a difficult phase before the tournament.
Reflecting on his journey after the final, Samson said: “There has been a lot of guidance from senior players, but the conversations I had with Sachin sir gave me huge clarity about my mindset and preparation.
