Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi congratulated Team India after their thrilling victory over South Africa in the first T20 match held at Barabati Stadium on Tuesday. Sharing his message after the match, the Chief Minister praised the team’s performance and the electrifying atmosphere created by cricket fans.

In his congratulatory message, CM Majhi said “The Barabati Stadium came alive tonight with the kind of cricket that makes the whole country cheer. Congratulations to Team India on a brilliant victory over South Africa. The passion and sportsmanship on display were truly inspiring.”

Earlier in the evening, CM Majhi visited Barabati Stadium during the match, interacted with players from both teams, and extended his best wishes to athletes and spectators.
During his social media post, he said “My best wishes to both the squads of Bharat and South Africa, on the pretext of the opening T20 match at the historic Barabati Stadium. Odisha has a proud history of upholding the best traditions of sportsmanship, and Barabati is a cherished emblem of our deep affection for cricket. We are truly eager to welcome these world-class athletes to experience exceptional cricketing action at Odisha, the sports hub of the nation.”
He added that the game once again highlighted the unity and cultural friendship fostered through sports and reflected the growing enthusiasm for cricket in Odisha.
