Bhubaneswar: The 2025 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix grid has been dramatically reshuffled after Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon were disqualified from qualifying due to technical infringements related to their DRS flap dimensions.
What Happened
The FIA found that the Williams cars of Sainz and Albon exceeded the 85mm DRS opening limit, breaching the technical regulations.
As a result, both drivers were excluded from qualifying results, pushing them to start from the pit lane.

Oscar Piastri (McLaren) moves up to P3, followed by rookie Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) in P4, marking a career-best start.
Key Movers
Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton also benefit, moving up to P5 and P6, respectively.
Pierre Gasly will start from the pit lane after overnight car changes by Alpine.
