Steve Allan Sinks Final-Hole Birdie to Claim Boeing Classic Title

Snoqualmie, Washington, USA – Australia’s Steve Allan secured his third victory of the season on Sunday, sinking a crucial six-foot birdie putt on the final hole to clinch a one-stroke win over Stewart Cink at the Boeing Classic in Snoqualmie, Washington.

A Flawless Final Round Propels Allan to Victory

Allan, who has now won twice in his last three starts on tour, delivered a spectacular bogey-free 7-under-par 65 in the final round. This stellar performance brought his three-day tournament total to 15-under 201 at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge.

The seasoned Australian expressed a degree of surprise at his trio of wins in 2025, adding the Boeing Classic title to his earlier victories at The Galleri Classics in March and the Dick’s Open in July.

Cink’s Lead Evaporates on Final Day

Stewart Cink, who began the final round with a commanding three-stroke lead, struggled to maintain his advantage. He finished the day with a 2-under 70, ultimately settling for solo second place at 14-under 202. The difference came on the par-5 18th hole, where Allan’s decisive birdie putt secured the win, while Cink found a bunker and could only manage a par.

Allan’s final round was highlighted by birdies at holes 1, 8, 9, 12, 15, 16, and 18. Conversely, Cink lost ground with bogeys at Nos. 6, 10, and 11, despite making birdies at 4, 8, 12, 15, and 16.

Top Finishers

Rounding out the top contenders, South Africa’s Ernie Els (6-under 66 on Sunday) and Northern Ireland’s Darren Clarke (66) tied for third place at 13-under. Two-time defending champion Stephen Ames of Canada carded a 69, tying for 14th at 7-under.
