What a start for Indian golfer Amandeep Drall! She absolutely crushed it in the first round of the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open, shooting an incredible 8-under 64. That fantastic score puts her right at the top of the leaderboard!
This is a huge deal for Amandeep, as it’s her best-ever round on the Ladies European Tour (LET). Even more impressive, she hasn’t made a cut on the Tour since October 2023, and this is only her second LET event of the season. Talk about a comeback!
How the Other Indian Golfers Fared:
- Hitaashee Bakshi, a rookie, also had a great start, finishing with a 4-under 68. She’s currently tied for 12th.
- Avani Prashanth began strong, being 3-under after six holes, but she ended the day at 1-under 71, putting her in a tie for 43rd.
- Tvesa Malik shot a 72 (tied for 67th).
- Sneha Singh came in with a 73 (tied for 96th).
- Vani Kapoor finished with a 74 (tied for 110th).
- Diksha Dagar, who started later, was 2-over through seven holes and well behind.
- Neha Tripathi, who got into the tournament last minute, was even par through five holes.
