New Delhi : Hockey India has announced a strong 20-member squad for the Women’s Asia Cup 2025, with seasoned midfielder Salima Tete retained as captain. This tournament in Hangzhou holds immense importance as the winner secures direct qualification for the 2026 FIH Women’s Hockey World Cup. India, drawn in Pool B, will face Thailand (5th Sept), Japan (6th Sept), and Singapore (8th Sept) in the pool stage.
