Team GB’s mixed doubles curling pair Jen Dodds and Bruce Mouat continued their perfect run at the Winter Olympics with another impressive victory in Cortina, catching the attention of rap star Snoop Dogg along the way.

The Scottish duo defeated Sweden 7-4 to remain unbeaten and move closer to the semi-finals, with their performance earning praise from fans and celebrities alike.

Snoop Dogg Steals Spotlight

Snoop Dogg, present at the venue as a Team USA supporter and honorary coach, watched the match from the stands and later asked Dodds and Mouat for a selfie.

Mouat revealed that the rapper had heard about his performances, while Dodds said the moment added to an already special day for the pair.

Unbeaten Run Continues

The victory over Sweden marked Team GB’s fourth consecutive win in the round-robin stage. Their strong showing has placed them at the top of the standings and within reach of the last four.

With six wins likely enough for qualification, Dodds and Mouat are firmly on course for the semi-finals.

Dodds and Mouat Shine

While Mouat admitted he had struggled in earlier matches, he produced one of his best displays against Sweden. Dodds also impressed with her consistency and accuracy, giving the British team control for most of the match.

Former player and pundit Jackie Lockhart highlighted Dodds’ performance as the key difference between the two sides.

Decisive Final Moments

After leading 4-3 at the break, Team GB extended their advantage with crucial points in the fifth end. A brilliant final throw from Mouat sealed the win and denied Sweden any chance of a comeback.

The moment sparked celebrations and led to Snoop Dogg congratulating the pair courtside.

Next Challenge Ahead

Dodds and Mouat will return to the ice later today to face South Korea, who are yet to register a win in the competition. Another victory would all but confirm their place in the semi-finals.

With confidence growing and momentum on their side, Team GB’s curling stars are fast becoming one of Britain’s standout acts at the Winter Games.
