“‘Big. Is. Back.’ — Hockey India Unveils High-Impact Campaign for HIL 2025/26”

Hockey India has officially kicked off the build-up to the Hero Hockey India League (HIL) 2025/26 with a striking new promotional campaign anchored by the punchy brand line — “Big. Is. Back.” The refreshed identity signals the league’s ambition to return bigger, louder and more immersive than ever.

A Cinematic Reintroduction to HIL
The campaign celebrates the sport’s speed, intensity and emotional depth through high-energy visuals and storytelling. Animated films bring each franchise city to life, while a multi-platform rollout — spanning outdoor installations, radio, television and OTT — ensures maximum reach and recall.

360° Marketing to Supercharge Fan Engagement
A major push on digital platforms will feature daily stories, behind-the-scenes content, player profiles, reel-first creatives, and influencer collaborations aimed at sustaining fan excitement well beyond matchdays.

“Bigger Than Ever,” Says Tirkey
HIL Governing Committee Chairperson Dilip Tirkey said the promo marks the official countdown to a landmark season.
“HIL has played a crucial role in the growth of Indian hockey. With this strong marketing push, we aim to take hockey to more people and inspire the next generation.”

Committee member Bhola Nath Singh added that the campaign injects “fresh energy” and ensures the league’s return is big, exciting and easy to connect with.

Hockey Returns to Centre Stage
With a renewed focus on scale, innovation and emotion, Hockey India aims to catapult the league back to the heart of India’s sporting culture.

Season Schedule

  • Women’s League: 28 Dec 2025 – 10 Jan 2026 (Ranchi)

  • Men’s League: 3 – 26 Jan 2026 (Chennai, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar)

The stage is set. Big really is back.
