NBA, ACG & BFI Launch India’s Biggest School Basketball Program

ACG Jr. NBA 3v3 tournament to scout and shape U-14 talent across 10 major cities

The National Basketball Association (NBA), ACG, and the Basketball Federation of India (BFI) have announced the 2025–26 edition of the ACG Jr. NBA 3v3 National Tournament, now positioned as India’s largest school-based basketball initiative. Focused exclusively on U-14 boys and girls, the ambitious program will span 10 cities, strengthening the country’s grassroots basketball ecosystem.

10-City Tour to Boost Youth Participation

The tournament will begin on 27 November in Ludhiana and travel through major hubs including Chennai, Udaipur, New Delhi, Guwahati, Bengaluru, Prayagraj, Mumbai, Kochi, and Indore. Schools in these cities can field boys’ and girls’ teams, ensuring widespread participation and expanding the talent base.

Skechers as Official Kit Partner

Global footwear and apparel company Skechers continues its association as the Official Kit Partner, providing high-quality performance wear to all participating teams. The collaboration adds a professional edge to the tournament while supporting young athletes at a foundational stage.

More Than a Tournament — A Holistic Development Platform

Beyond competitive play, the ACG Jr. NBA program emphasizes basketball fundamentals, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship.
NBA India Country Head Rajah Chaudhry described it as a “cornerstone of youth development,” noting that several former participants have advanced to national and international platforms.

BFI President Aadhav Arjuna highlighted the tournament’s role in creating a strong pipeline for future national-level players, while Karan Singh, Managing Director of ACG, spoke about the shared mission of making basketball accessible and aspirational for India’s youth.

A Decade-Long Grassroots Legacy

Since its introduction in 2013, the Jr. NBA program has reached millions of young players and trained thousands of physical education instructors nationwide.
With implementation support from grassroots partner India On Track, the 2025–26 edition aims to deepen basketball’s roots across schools and identify promising new talent across India.
