Through years of training, dedication and competition, Vrbec has progressed to representing Slovenia on the international stage.
Samo Vrbec’s Rise in International Archery
Vrbec has already produced several encouraging performances in youth archery. One of his significant achievements came at the 2026 European Youth Championships in Rome, where he secured a bronze medal in the Under-18 men’s recurve category in July.
The medal marked an important milestone in his developing career and demonstrated his ability to compete against some of Europe’s best young archers. His performance also strengthened Slovenia’s presence in the international youth archery circuit.

The achievement highlighted his growing consistency and accuracy in recurve archery, adding another major accomplishment to his young career.
Slovenia’s Archery Hopes at Dakar 2026
