Her journey, however, did not begin with badminton. She first took up skating at a young age before gradually finding her way to the badminton court.

Anmol鈥檚 father, Devender Kharb, a lawyer from Faridabad and a former kabaddi player, encouraged her to take up a sport. After seeing her interest in badminton, he helped her pursue the game more seriously.
She began training at Sunrise Academy under coach Kusum Singh. Her father also remained closely involved in her development, observing her matches and helping her understand areas where she could improve.

The early years were challenging as Anmol balanced school education at DPS Faridabad with training. She would begin her day with physical training before moving on to badminton practice.

At the age of 12, Anmol won a U-17 All India Ranking title in Hyderabad, giving her an early national-level breakthrough. She later progressed through the junior ranks and became India鈥檚 No. 1 in the U-17 and U-19 categories.
Her major senior breakthrough came at the 2023 Senior National Badminton Championships in Guwahati, where she defeated Tanvi Sharma to become the women鈥檚 singles national champion.

The biggest turning point in Anmol鈥檚 career came in 2024 when she was selected for India鈥檚 women鈥檚 team at the Badminton Asia Team Championships in Shah Alam, Malaysia.
India went on to win its first-ever women鈥檚 gold medal at the continental team event. Anmol played a crucial role, winning all three of her deciding matches during the tournament.

In the group stage, Anmol played the deciding tie against China鈥檚 Wu Luo Yu. Despite being ranked much lower at the time, she fought back to win 22-20, 14-21, 21-18, giving India an important victory.
She was called upon again in the semi-final against Japan. Facing Natsuki Nidaira, Anmol produced another strong performance and won 21-14, 21-18.
