Danish badminton star Anders Antonsen fought back brilliantly from a game down to beat Thailand’s Kunlavut Vitidsarn in a thrilling men’s singles final at the Thailand Open 2026 in Bangkok.
Antonsen lost the opening game heavily but responded with remarkable composure and resilience to turn the contest around, eventually sealing victory in three hard-fought games.
The Dane showed tremendous fighting spirit in the second game, edging a tense battle before dominating crucial rallies in the decider to silence the home crowd and secure the title.
The victory marked Antonsen’s first BWF World Tour title of the 2026 season and served as redemption after his loss to Vitidsarn in last year’s Thailand Open final.
