ICC Announces Warm-Up Schedule for Women’s T20 World Cup 2026

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially unveiled the warm-up fixtures for the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, with 12 practice matches scheduled ahead of the main tournament in England and Wales.

The warm-up games will take place from June 6 to June 10 across Derby, Loughborough, and Cardiff, giving participating teams a crucial opportunity to fine-tune preparations before the tournament begins on June 12.

Several high-profile fixtures are set to headline the warm-up phase, featuring tournament favourites such as India, Australia, England, South Africa, and defending champions New Zealand.

Tournament Set for Expanded 12-Team Format

The 2026 edition marks a significant expansion of the Women’s T20 World Cup, with 12 teams participating for the first time in the tournament’s history.

England and Wales will host matches across iconic venues including Lord’s, The Oval, Old Trafford, Headingley, Edgbaston, Southampton, and Bristol, with the final scheduled at Lord’s on July 5.
