South Africa dominate India to seal convincing win in 4th T20i

Johannesburg: South Africa Women delivered a commanding performance to defeat India Women in the fourth T20I, strengthening their grip on the five-match series with a dominant all-round display.

South africa chase down target comfortably

After being set a competitive total by India, South Africa chased the target with ease, securing victory with wickets in hand and plenty of balls to spare. The clinical run chase highlighted their batting depth and composure under pressure.

India post fighting total but fall short

India Women put up a respectable score of 173/5 in their allotted 20 overs, with contributions from the top and middle order. Despite a solid batting effort, their total proved insufficient against a strong South African lineup.

South Africa’s batting leads the way

The hosts’ batters took control early in the chase, building partnerships and keeping the required rate in check. Their aggressive yet calculated approach ensured there were no major hiccups in the pursuit of the target.

Series momentum firmly with hosts

With this win, South Africa Women gained a significant advantage in the series, continuing their impressive form throughout the tour. The result puts pressure on India heading into the remaining matches.

India look to bounce back

India Women will need to regroup quickly, particularly focusing on their bowling execution and death-over strategies, as they aim to stay competitive in the series.

South Africa’s dominant performance once again underlined their strength at home, while India face an uphill task to turn the series around in the remaining fixtures.
