Atiqa Mir Stands Tall in the Fast Lane, Refuses to Be Intimidated

At just a young age, Atiqa Mir is already making waves in international karting and junior racing circuits. Her journey into motorsport—a field still heavily dominated by men—has been anything but easy.

Facing Aggression Head-On

Mir offered a candid glimpse into life on the track, revealing the challenges she faces while competing against boys who are often older and more experienced. Aggressive driving, intimidation, and constant pressure are part of the game.

Her response has been simple yet powerful: stand her ground. “They bully me, I bully them back,” she said—capturing the fearless mindset that defines her racing style.

Backed by Opportunity and Talent

Mir’s growing reputation has earned her backing from the Formula 1 Academy, making her one of the few Indian drivers to receive such recognition. The support not only validates her talent but also opens doors to bigger platforms.

Driving Change Beyond the Track

More than just a racer, Mir represents a shift in perception. Her rise challenges stereotypes and inspires a new generation of young girls in India to pursue motorsport without hesitation.
