Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women Seal Dominant Win Over UP Warriorz In WPL Clash

RCB Register Comprehensive Victory In 18th Match
Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women produced a clinical all-round performance to defeat UP Warriorz Women by eight wickets in the 18th match of the Women’s Premier League 2025–26, strengthening their position in the tournament with a commanding win.
UP Warriorz Post Modest Total After Batting First
Batting first, UP Warriorz Women struggled to build sustained momentum and were restricted to 143 for 8 in 20 overs. Despite a steady start from the top order, the middle and lower order failed to capitalise as RCB’s bowlers maintained tight lines and picked up regular wickets, preventing a late surge.
Grace Harris Leads RCB Chase With Authority
Chasing a target of 144, Royal Challengers Bengaluru made light work of the total, reaching 147 for 2 in just over 13 overs. Grace Harris starred with a dominant innings, showcasing clean hitting and composure to keep the chase firmly under control. Her aggressive approach ensured there was no pressure on the batting side.
Clinical Team Effort From Royal Challengers Bengaluru
RCB’s victory was built on a balanced team effort, with disciplined bowling setting the platform before a confident batting display sealed the result. The team showed depth and intent in both departments, underlining their strong form in the competition.
UP Warriorz Face Setback As Tournament Progresses
The defeat proved costly for UP Warriorz, who were unable to challenge RCB in any phase of the match. With limited opportunities left in the league stage, the Warriorz now face an uphill task in keeping their campaign alive.
RCB Look Ahead With Confidence
With this emphatic win, Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women will look to carry forward their momentum as the tournament moves into its decisive phase, while UP Warriorz will aim to regroup quickly ahead of their remaining fixtures.
