New Delhi : At the 68th National Shooting Championship Competitions held at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi, Army marksman Ajay Kumar delivered a composed and commanding performance to clinch the gold medal in the Men’s 10 m Air Pistol event.
In a thrilling finale that kept spectators on edge, Kumar topped the scoreboard with 241.1 points, narrowly fending off Shubham Bisla of Railways, who took silver with 240.1, while Anmol Jain from Haryana secured the bronze.

Meanwhile, the shotgun range witnessed intense action as Tamil Nadu emerged victorious in the Senior and Junior Trap Mixed Team events, edging out strong challenges from Madhya Pradesh and Haryana in closely fought finals.
