Bijan Robinson produced a career-best performance to lead the Atlanta Falcons to a stunning 24-14 win over the Buffalo Bills on Monday night.
The 22-year-old running back rushed for 170 yards — his highest in an NFL game — and caught passes for another 68 yards, including an electrifying 81-yard touchdown that sealed the Falcons’ upset victory at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The Bills, considered early Super Bowl favourites, suffered their second straight defeat to fall to 4-2 after starting the season unbeaten.
Robinson and London Shine
Atlanta quarterback Michael Penix threw for 250 yards and a touchdown, with 158 of those yards going to wide receiver Drake London. Tyler Allgeier’s early touchdown gave the Falcons the lead, before Buffalo’s Josh Allen connected with Dawson Knox to level the score.
London’s touchdown and Robinson’s long run put Atlanta firmly in control at 21-7. The Bills reduced the deficit through Ray Davis, but a late 33-yard field goal by Parker Romo sealed the win for the Falcons, who improved to 3-2.
Allen, last season’s MVP, endured a tough outing — throwing for just 180 yards and suffering interceptions at the end of both halves.
Moody Kicks Bears to Dramatic Win
In the night’s other matchup, Jake Moody kicked a game-winning 38-yard field goal with three seconds remaining as the Chicago Bears edged the Washington Commanders 25-24.
Moody, cut by the San Francisco 49ers earlier this season, redeemed himself on debut for Chicago. Quarterback Caleb Williams threw for 252 yards and a touchdown, while a 55-yard D’Andre Swift score kept the Bears in contention before Moody’s last-second heroics.
The Bears moved to 3-2, while Washington dropped to 3-3.
