Bhubaneswar: India’s top badminton players are all set to return to action at the Denmark Open 2025, beginning on October 14 in Odense. The Super 750 tournament will feature some of the world’s best shuttlers, with the Indian contingent eyeing a strong showing across categories.

Leading the charge will be the men’s doubles duo Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, who headline India’s campaign. After a solid season that included podium finishes at the Hong Kong Open and China Masters, the pair will look to reclaim their winning touch on European soil. They will be joined by the emerging pair Sai Pratheek and Pruthvi Krishnamurthy Roy, who continue to gain valuable experience on the world stage.

In the men’s singles section, Lakshya Sen returns to the circuit hoping to rediscover his rhythm against a tough field. He will be accompanied by Ayush Shetty, the young shuttler making steady progress and aiming for a breakthrough at this Super 750 event.

India’s rising women’s singles player Anmol Kharb, coming off a semifinal finish at the Arctic Open, is another to watch. Her fearless shot-making and recent form have drawn attention, and she will be eager to test herself against higher-ranked opponents in Odense.

The Denmark Open, one of the oldest and most prestigious tournaments on the BWF World Tour, runs from October 14 to 19. The event begins with the Round of 32 on the opening two days, followed by the Round of 16 on October 16, quarterfinals on October 17, semifinals on October 18, and the finals on October 19.

With Rankireddy–Shetty leading the charge and young talents like Anmol Kharb and Ayush Shetty in the mix, Indian badminton fans will have plenty to cheer for in Odense as the country’s best aim for a podium finish at the 2025 Denmark Open.
