Bhubaneswar: The 2025 BWF World Junior Mixed Team Championships (Suhandinata Cup) are taking place in Guwahati, Assam, India, from October 6 to 11. The event brings together the best young badminton talents from around the world, as they compete for the prestigious team title ahead of the individual events.

Broadcast and Streaming Details

Fans can watch all the action live on BWF TV, the official YouTube channel of the Badminton World Federation. Selected matches, including Court 1 broadcasts, are being streamed throughout the week.

In addition, local broadcasters in several regions are carrying live coverage, so viewers are advised to check their country’s listings for timing and availability.

Tournament Overview

The championship is being held at the National Centre of Excellence in Guwahati. The tournament features a group stage, followed by knockout rounds to determine the overall team standings and the winners of the Suhandinata Cup.

This mixed team segment forms part of the larger BWF World Junior Championships, with the individual events scheduled to follow immediately after.

Highlights So Far

The host nation, India, impressed in the group stage with strong all-round performances from its young squad. Meanwhile, the USA team advanced unbeaten from its group after victories over Vietnam, Norway, Egypt, and France.

In the quarterfinals, the USA won the opening game against Japan 45–44 but lost the next two games 32–45 and 31–45, bowing out of the title race. They will now face Malaysia in the playoff for 5th to 8th positions.
