The 40th edition of the National Junior Athletics Championships is all set to begin at Kalinga Stadium from October 10 to 14, 2025. Over five days, India’s best junior athletes will compete in a range of track and field events, making it one of the most anticipated junior athletics meets of the year.
Packed Schedule Across Five Days
The championship will feature sprints, middle- and long-distance races, hurdles, jumps, and throws for Under-16, Under-18, and Under-20 categories. Multi-event competitions such as decathlon, heptathlon, and pentathlon will test the all-round abilities of the participants. The first day will kick off with long-distance races and 100m heats, while the final day will conclude with steeplechase, 4x400m relays, and final field events. Both boys and girls will compete in age-specific categories, showcasing talent across the nation.
