Mooney and King rescued the Australian innings from a precarious position, where they were struggling at 115/8.  The two put up a remarkable resistance against Pakistan’s spin attack, which had dominated the first 30 overs of the match.

Despite being under pressure from veteran spinner Nashra Sandhu, Rameen Shamim, and Sadia Iqbal who shared six wickets among them in their 30 overs, Mooney and King managed to take Australia to a respectable total. Mooney’s century was a masterclass in batting. Apart from 11 fours, she ran 44 singles, nine twos, and a three, as per ESPNcricinfo.

Meanwhile, King contributed significantly to Australia’s total with her maiden half-century (51 not out) at No. 10 position. Australia’s innings ended with a bang. They scored 81 runs in the last 10 overs, including 53 off the last four.
