New Delhi :  Day 3 of the 5th Hockey India Senior Women’s Inter-Department National Championship (played on 1 October) produced big wins, a dramatic draw, and even a forfeit, setting the stage for the semi-finals.

Sahastra Seema Bal 10–2 UCO Bank W.H.A. (Pool C):

Manisha struck a hat-trick (29′, 41′, 47′) while Roshni Dungdung added a brace. Goals came from seven different players, underlining SSB’s depth. UCO Bank replied through Kirti (30′) and captain Ankita Dahiya (52′).

Tamil Nadu Police 2–2 Central Secretariat (Pool A):
