Focus on grassroots development
Speaking after his election, Harsh Vardhan said, “Being the youngest President of the Bihar Cricket Association comes with both pride and a sense of duty. I represent the new generation of cricket administrators. Together with my team, we will work tirelessly to take Bihar cricket to the next level.”
Harsh is the son of former BCA president Rakesh Tiwary. Priya Kumari will serve as vice-president, Ziaul Arefin as secretary, Abhishek Nandan as treasurer, and Rohit Kumar as joint secretary. All other office-bearers were elected unopposed.
The newly elected team has committed to strengthening grassroots cricket, improving infrastructure, and creating more opportunities for young and aspiring cricketers across Bihar. The BCA emphasized that these steps aim to take the state’s cricketing ecosystem to new heights.
