What is the highest score for South Africa in ODIs on English soil?

Matthew Breetzke owns the most runs after first 5 ODI innings

South Africa beat England by 5 runs in the 2nd ODI of the three-match series. The match at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground, saw the visitors score 330/8 in 50 overs. In response, England were restricted to 325/9. With this win, the Proteas have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series. The 3rd ODI will be played on Sunday in Southampton.
2nd-highest ODI score for SA in England
South Africa’s 330/8 is their 2nd-highest team total on English soil. The Proteas openers added 73 runs for the 1st wicket. Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton (35) looked solid in the middle before the latter perished to Jofra Archer. England then reduced South Africa to 93/3 with Temba Bavuma and Markram (49) getting dismissed. A 147-run stand for the 4th wicket between Matthew Breetzke and Tristan Stubbs helped SA steady the ship.
Breetzke scored 85 runs, slamming a fifth 50-plus score in his 1st five ODI innings. Stubbs scored an important 58. Both batters perished in quick intervals, leaving SA at 259/5. Pivotal knock from Dewald Brevis and Corbin Bosch then helped the visitors get to 330/8.
For England, Archer was terrific. He claimed 4/62 from 10 overs. Adil Rashid picked 2/33 from 10 overs.
What is South Africa’s highest total in England?
As per ESPNcricinfo, South Africa’s highest team total in England is 333/5 in Chester-le-Street, 2022. The Proteas scored 333/5 in 50 overs before dismissing England for 271 to win the match by 62 runs. Rassie van der Dussen’s 134 and Markram’s 77 were crucial for the South African side in their score of 333.
Joe Root’s 86 in England’s run-chase wasn’t enough. Jonny Bairstow also chipped in with a knock of 63. Anrich Nortje picked 4 scalps for the Proteas.
