Who Shined Brightest at the Wanda Diamond League Final in Zurich?

Switzerland : The 2025 Wanda Diamond League Final in Zurich delivered a spectacular showcase of athleticism, crowning six champions on the first day alone under the bright Swiss sky at Sechseläutenplatz. Australian high jumper Nicola Olyslagers stole the spotlight with a breathtaking performance, clearing 2.04 meters to set a new Oceania record and claim her first Diamond League title. The competition was fierce, culminating in both athletes collapsing in mutual respect after the contest.

Other highlights of the day included Joe Kovacs securing his fourth Diamond Trophy in the shot put with a 22.46m throw and Swiss star Simon Ehammer thrilling the home crowd by winning the men’s long jump with an impressive 8.32m leap.
