Telengana : Telangana’s rising swimming talent made a remarkable impact at the junior national swimming championship in Ahmedabad, with impressive podium finishes that showcased the state’s growing strength in aquatic sports.
M Suhas Preetham earned accolades for Telangana by clinching a hard-fought silver medal in the fiercely competitive men’s 200-meter backstroke event. Clocking in at an impressive 2:05.57, Suhas demonstrated both speed and skill, making his mark among the nation’s top junior swimmers. His achievement puts him in the spotlight as one of Telangana’s most promising aquatic athletes.
Adding to Telangana’s medal tally, Sri Nithya Sagi delivered a strong performance in the women’s 400-meter individual medley. Her determination and stamina were evident as she powered through the event to secure the bronze medal, finishing with a commendable time of 5:13.67. Nithya’s podium finish highlights the growing presence of Telangana’s women swimmers on the national stage.
