Bhubaneswar : India’s Sujeet Kalkal, fresh off his triumph at the U23 Asian Championships, claimed the gold medal in the men’s 65kg freestyle category at the Polyák Imre & Varga János Memorial Ranking Series in Budapest, Hungary.

Gold Medal Match: Sujeet overpowered Ali Rahimzade of Azerbaijan, a multiple-time European bronze medallist, with a decisive 5-1 victory in the final.

Dominant Run: Earlier, Sujeet notched up an 11-0 technical superiority win over Islam Dudaev of Albania, who is a Paris 2024 Olympic bronze medallist.
