Here’s Your Monday Guide for Wimbledon

London, England- Day 8 at Wimbledon 2025 is set to bring thrilling fourth-round action as the tournament progresses. Top players like Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, and Iga Swiatek will be in the spotlight, aiming to secure their spots in the quarterfinals.

Key Matches and Players

According to BBC Sport, the day’s highlights include crucial encounters for the world’s elite.

  • Men’s Singles: World number one Jannik Sinner, who has impressively not dropped a set in his first three matches, is slated to face Grigor Dimitrov. Six-time champion Novak Djokovic, who recently celebrated his 100th match win at Wimbledon, will take on Alex de Minaur. Both Sinner and Djokovic are on a potential collision course for a semi-final showdown.
  • Women’s Singles: In the women’s draw, Iga Swiatek, showing significant improvement on grass courts, will play Clara Tauson. Mirra Andreeva and Emma Navarro are set for a compelling clash between two highly-ranked players in the bottom half of the draw. Other notable women’s matches include Ekaterina Alexandrova against Belinda Bencic and Liudmila Samsonova against Jessica Bouzas Maneiro.

British Interest and Other Matches

While Cameron Norrie, the sole British singles quarter-finalist, has a day off, British interest on Monday will shift to the doubles and junior events. Additionally, in men’s doubles, India’s Yuki Bhambri and his American partner Robert Galloway will face Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos.
