First Indian to reach world championship in two-wheel racing
Shreyas Harish has become the first Indian to have ever reached the World Championships of two-wheel racing in any age category. He is also known as ‘Child of Bangalore.’ He finished in the top ten at the 2022 Mini GP World
Championship in Spain. So far, no Indian has competed or participated in a MotoGP final race. MotoGP is the equivalent of Formula1 in Grand Prix racing for 2W Racing. MotoGP is a highly competitive race. Although the sport is still in its infancy in India, it is well developed in Europe and western countries.

India wins T20 World Cup winning of the Blind
India won the T20 World Championships for the Blind. Following the brilliant centuries of captain Ajay Kumar Reddy and Sunil Ramesh, India beat Bangladesh with 120 points in the final to claim their third consecutive title at the T20 World Cup for the Blind.

Aman Sehrawat wins gold at National Senior Wrestling Championship
Under-23 World Champion Aman Sehrawat won gold in the 57kg freestyle at the Senior National Wrestling Championships at Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium. Aman showed off his skills by defeating Haryana’s Udit to finish first.

Ishpreet Singh Chadha wins SAARC snooker title
Ishpreet Singh Chadha of India was crowned champion of the 2nd Sheikh Kamal SAARC Snooker Championship 2022 in Dhaka. Chadha defeated fellow Indian Brijesh Damani in the final. Prior to that, he beat former world champion Ahsan Ramzan of Pakistan 4-6 in the semi-finals to set up an all-India final.

Savithashri bags bronze 2022 Women’s World Rapid Chess Championship
Woman International Master (WIM)Savithashri won bronze for India at the 2022 Women’s World Rapid Chess Championship. The 15-year-old took 8/11 to finish on the podium optical.Hailing from the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, Savithashri entered the final day of the championship, leading Zhongyi Tan and Aleksandra Goryachkina of China by 6.5 points in eight sets.

Bike race to be held in Berlin
The Six Days of Berlin is a six-day track bike race held annually in Berlin, Germany. The new format competition will consist of three consecutive days of track cycling. With 16 teams of 2 consisting of 32 of the world’s best riders, including World, Olympic and European champions competing in 5 disciplines including Eliminations, Time Trials, Madisons and more, this 3-day competition is truly spectacular thing.

World Grand Prix to be held from Jan 16 to 22
World Grand Prix 2022/2023 is the 9th edition of this competition. The competition will take place from 16th January till 22th January in Wales. The World Grand Prix is a professional ranking snooker tournament restricted to the top 32 players on the one-year ranking list. The inaugural edition was played in 2015 at the Venue Cymru in Llandudno, Wales.[1] The reigning champion is Ronnie O’Sullivan.
